Plethora of Analogies

In between studying for my CISSP and getting ready for Christmas, I’ve had a chance to read, “Zen and the Art of Information Security”, by Ira Winkler (ISBN-13:  978-1-59749-168-6).  This book is an easy read (144 pages).  Ira was definitely able to demonstrate, in a concise and understandable way, that the most successful security professionals convey their security expertise through rational points of view and proven processes (my preference) rather than through FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) – which is totally heinous and very grey-beardish.
